Puerto Paraiso

I have been in this resort many times. For those who haven't tried visiting Puerto Paraiso, I think it's time to give it a try. This place is so wonderful. It is located at Bugayong Binalonan, Pangasinan. It's found along the high way. If you have been to a trip in the north a this year or a year ago, maybe you have seen this place.

You will not spend much when you go here. The entrance fee is so cheap as well as the cottages and private rooms. Believe me, it's all worth it. You can have the most out of your expenses. The place is clean. It's planted with tress too. And the facilities like comfort rooms is good.

Puerto Paraiso, High way robbery...I am from Canada and have families in Pozorrubio. We have been back and forth to the Philippines many times. We have been checking-in the hotels, condotel, inns, motels, and many resorts in the Phil. Most of them we are satisfied with the services they provided with the cost of what they charged us. We stayed in the hotels in Makati, Manila, Palawan, Alaminos Pangasinan Resort, Lingayen Pangasinan Resort. Even a Nipa Hut in Sabang Palawan, they have showers, table and chair for 700pesos a night. All of this resorts have tables and chairs in the room, they have showers that are working not a bucket. They even have fridge in the room. The hotels that we stayed in Makati and in Sta Cruz, Manila has fridges, hot water, tables and chairs a complete set of clean towels not a raggedy one. With this hotels we we're charges between 1900 to 1700 pesos with all these services. The last resort we stayed was in Alaminos, we were charged 3500pesos, we have 2 big rooms with airconditioning, 2 bathrooms, fridge, stoves, kitchen capabilities, we had the whole house available to us.
From Alaminos to Pozorrubio, we decided to stopped by at Puerto Paraiso that we heard so much about plus my sister know the owner and recommended this place to us. The place were nice with swimming pool, its clean outside. We arrived around 2pm, the place was extremely noisy, they must have 4-5 loud karaoke going on. I did not asked for more information about the cost of the room or filled out any registration as I thought my sister knew the owner.

I found out that the cost of sleeping in their room was 2,500 pesos per night. I am oblivious, there is nothing in the room except the bed, there's no chair to sit, no table to put your stuff, TV that's 7ft up to the ground, unplug, no antenna attached, there was no remote, no shower, only bucket, there was a bar soap but no shampoo, towels are like hand or kitchen towels, too small, can't even dry your hair. The noise finally stop at 11pm. Then a noise woke us up at 2am and kept us awake till 5am. Sounds like rat or snake fell from the ceilings, we looked around the room, we checked under the bed, use flashlight to see what it was but we didn't see anything, but the noise stayed in the room, we did not know what it was and that kept us awake all night.

Now to find out that the price or cost of this place was very very shocking! It's unbelievable!!My husband and my mother-in-law says it was a highway robbery. This accommodation is by far the worst and most ridiculously expensive and its not worth it. I paid 5,000 pesos for this kind of place. Learned the hard way and we won't coming back.

I visit my family on a regular basis and also bring family and friends with me, there are also a lot friends here in Canada that go in that directions, I will warn them to stay away from your Paraiso.
